Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using 9000 Spreadsheets (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization.

2. The Service

9000 Spreadsheets validates spreadsheet data against rules you define. The free in-browser validator processes files locally in your browser. Paid plans add persistence, export, and other features described on our pricing page.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to it secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old.

4. Plans, billing & refunds

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or annually) via Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
• Annual plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee — email us within 30 days of your first annual payment for a full refund.
• Free trials convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless cancelled first.
• You can cancel any time via the billing portal; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice.

5. Your data & acceptable use

You retain all rights to the spreadsheets and rules you create. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Service (e.g., storing your rulesets, generating a report you request). You agree not to misuse the Service — including uploading unlawful content, infringing others' rights, probing or disrupting the Service, or reselling it without permission.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by the operator. These Terms grant you no rights to it other than the right to use the Service.

7. AI features

AI-assisted rule drafting generates suggestions from your descriptions. Suggestions may be imperfect — review rules before relying on them. Your prompts are processed by our AI subprocessor and are not used to train models.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Validation results depend on the rules you define; we do not warrant that the Service will catch every data error.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination survive it.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in the product or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
